Valentina was a wonderful host-providing wonderful cooking tips with Ligurian history. The pasta making class/dinner was paired perfectly with a bottle of local wine directly from a local winery. The freshly baked focaccia breads served with local salami was the perfect start to a wonderful meal. The Rose Syrup on ice cream was the highlight of the meal! Incredible value for a 5 star experience. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Chiavari Area.

We had a wonderful experience with this cooking class. It was so special to go to Valentina’s home and get to know her as we learned to make foccacia, pizza, and pesto. She is very familiar with food intolerances and was able to work around dairy and gluten issues for my daughter and me. Our daughters are 10 and 12 and had a great time. At the end we ate what we had made on her terrace overlooking a spectacular view, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! We would highly recommend this!

My daughter and I enjoyed an afternoon with Valentina! Cooking together, Valentina's explanations about the food, and conversations about Italian life! We had the most incredible experience with Valentina. She had thoughtfully planned a menu that considered our family's dietary interests, and guided us (mostly our kids, who absolutely fell in love with her!) through the recipes, sharing invaluable techniques you would never find in just a recipe book. And if that wasn't enough, we then got to enjoy our efforts on her stunning patio with a view of the Mediterranean. This experience was a highlight of our trip! Book her now, you won't regret it!

This was the cooking experience of a lifetime.
Valentina was exceptional in her making us not only a delicious local feast, but her ability to teach and educate.
The entire afternoon was a treat to be with her in the kitchen learning the traditional ways & foods. Being in her kitchen / home was a real treat.
We then enjoyed our meal overlooking the beautiful hillside.
